Diabetes' Care

  • Maintain a healthy diet

  • Avoid spending much time between meals by taking snacks.

  • Exercise for at least 30 minutes, five times a week.

  • Keep you dental hygiene.

  • Watch your feet frequently and be alert if you have cuts, bruises, redness or nail pain.

  • Take your diabetes medication at the same time every day.

  • Write down the values of your glucose tests, including date and time, and contact your doctor if the values are not consistent or if you notice anything unusual.  

  • Don't smoke.
